About Me

Born and raised on the East Coast, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. For several years, I co-ran a female-based production company, developing and producing human interest stories. It was through this work that my curiosity about the human condition deepened and where I became interested in how each person’s unique experience, as well as the systems that they live can affect their mental well-being . It was at this point where I decided to see more of the world, traveling solo throughout Southeast Asia, volunteering as an English teacher in Bali and connecting with others across the globe. Throughout the course of this experience, I decided to go back to school to receive a Masters in Clinical Psychology. I was excited about Antioch University’s mission towards social justice and experiential learning. It was here that I specialized in Community Psychology, where I learned that healing does not happen alone.

I believe that therapy is a compassionate exchange within yourself and with others that allows one to fully experience the richness of life. I value this exchange between therapist and client because it allows us to fully expand and explore on the complexities that life brings. This helps to alleviate negative symptoms that are holding us back. As a therapist, I consider myself a facilitator of your healing and growth, giving you space to be curious, to question without judgment, to light up and expand on the path you choose. I will help you make connections and provide insights, incorporating mindfulness and somatic exercises, and working from a strengths based approach in order for you to fully embrace your unique strengths and authenticity. I take a collaborative, active role, sharing my observations in order to be of service to you and our process. As a result, I have seen clients make major shifts and changes in their lives, in their relationships, and in the way they feel about themselves, showing an increase in self-esteem, trust and connection.
